  • What services does Hilltop Tutors offer?

    Hilltop Tutors offers traditional (in-person) tutoring sessions, as well as, virtual tutoring services. Traditional sessions are held at a location of the parent’s choice, while virtual sessions are conducted via Zoom Meeting.

  • How long is a tutoring session with Hilltop Tutors?

    Hilltop Tutors understands the importance of engaging your child and their attention span; therefore, each session, traditional and virtual, is 1 hour. Anything under 1 hour will not allow proper time to teach, discuss and demonstrate the lesson taught during the session. Anything over 1 hour will lose the child’s focus.

  • What grade level(s) does Hilltop Tutors provide assistance?

    Hilltop Tutors can provide educational assistance for any child in grade levels Kindergarten through 12th grade.

  • Hilltop Tutors specializes in what subjects?

    Hilltop Tutors specializes in all subjects for children in grade levels Kindergarten through 12th grade.

  • Does a parent have to be present during the tutoring session?

    A parent or legal guardian is required to be physically in the same location the tutoring session is being held for traditional and virtual sessions.

  • What price packages does Hilltop Tutors offer?

    Hilltop Tutors has a variety of price packages based on the following preferences selected by the parent: Traditional or Virtual sessions, individual or group sessions, and number of sessions per week or month.

  • What if a parent needs to cancel a scheduled tutoring session?

    At Hilltop Tutors, we understand things come up and life happens. Parents will be able to cancel a session at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled session.

  • How is Hilltop Tutors conducting traditional (in-person) sessions during the COVID - 19 pandemic?

    Hilltop Tutors are required to wear face masks at all times, exiting their vehicle, prior to entering the physical location, during the tutoring session and exiting the location once the session has ended. The tutor can remove the face mask once inside of the vehicle. Also, the parent has the right to check the tutor’s temperatures, if desired, at the start to each session. Tutors are required to bring their own resources to avoid having to share with the child(ren). (pencils, pens, paper, devices, etc.)
